Well David Sullivan's (West Ham's co-owner) son said that his dad was working on doubling West Hams transfer recored. Their record is £9million I think.

We're probably gonna lose Bellamy, possibly gonna lose Carroll, and we've already lost Kuyt, signings up front are needed, one striker at the very least, two preferrably.

We've lost a good experienced core in Bellamy, Maxi, Kuyt. Apparently it's down to trying to cut the wage bill down, so I'd expect their replacements to be young players with potential, and low wages.

Apparently, Adam will be used as a make weight for Dempsey, which in my opinion is a good deal, as Adam is on large wages, and does not suit Rodgers' style. Dempsey on the other hand, would be like our Garcia or what Maxi was, who can come off the bench and score vital goals.

If we do get Allen, which is looking very likely as Swansea have bid for Mark Davies, then him alongside Lucas, is a very water tight midfield, with good ball playing abilities. We have also been reported to be after Sahin. A Midfield of Sahin, Lucas, Allen is very good, with all 3 players under the age of 25. Players such as Henderson, Shelvey, and Suso to an extent could fill in.

I think that even if we sign Dempsey, he will be a bench player, so I would expect a couple of strikers, especially if Carroll leaves. Suarez played wing/come inside forward for Ajax and Borini played the same role however on the right for Roma, so I expect us to get a goal scorer central striker.

Time is running out though, as it would be nice to have our new signings before the 3 bitch fixtures at home vs City, Arsenal and United.

Also reports of Walcott being linked. I'd happily sign him, even though allot of the time he has no end product, and is slightly injury prone.

If we sign him, I'd imagine he'd play as part of the front 3, as a inside forward, like Sinclair and Dyer where at Swansea.

Walcott is apparently a Liverpool fan aswell.

I'll never forget the day i went to Anfield for the first time, we played Portsmouth, Robbie Keane came on late on, singing YNWA before the game, it was the worst match ever too, didn't even care, had a great time.

Never gotten to a game since, i will someday again.
