can anyone tell me what the latest opengl version is pls? i cant seam to get my default one to work for me..

is there any thing involved in installing a new opengl renderer? changes in my dx ini. etc.. ?

OpenGL renderer version 1.8 for Deus Ex: dxglr18.zip (111 KB).


But you may also want to try the 1.6 one that is considerably smaller. I am currently not sure of the exact changes but they should be listed there as well as some tweaks for your deusex.ini


You install it simply by overwriting your existing file in DeusEx/System and then selecting new driver from SafeMode or from Settings in Game.

OpenGL has a list of variables you can tweak from DeusEx.ini once youve ran a game with OpenGL driver enabled. It is not necessary however.

by the way: if you have some sort of trouble with OGL or want to try something else: you can also download the D3D8 renderer from the same page. D3D with additional options, I believe.
