Odd Issue with Firefox.

Postby Gishank » Tue Feb 12, 08 1:48 pm

Right, this has been occuring since v2.0.0.12 was released....

Everytime i try to do something on steam, or do something in Internet Explorer, or just in general the File-Explorer on windows (Aka My Computer, My Documents, Unzipped files etc) it instantly crashes, without even giving an Error message. I then try to boot-up Firefox, and it then gives me some gay arse error saying a DLL file begining with j is missing. (Aka i can't remember the full name, just that it began with "j"). I then have to reinstall Firefox to use it. EVERY BLOODY TIME I WANT TO USE IT, i have to reinstall it!

Just some notes.

1) Isn't a virus, i know that much as
1a) AVG Didn't detect it, scanned my PC Entirely
1b) Most viruses i know of don't target Third-Party applications specifically, such as firefox.

2) It's only been occuring since it updated to v2.0.0.12...

Help would be greatly appreciated.

EDIT:

Just found out the file name, it's "js3250.dll".

reinstall/repair windows. somethings probably fucked up there i suppose.

As for your .dll file, I know this funny site ive been using quite a lot. I dunno if it is for some help for you, but i found the following:

Here you can download js3250.dll free of charge. The file is compressed so you need an unzip software in order to use the file. We recommend you to use ExpressZIP. We also recommend you to read the tutorial how to unzip and install the files.

You can visit this site from this link

:S

edit: some bug: i cannot surround the link name with < ; > with it supporting more than one word.

It's not windows that's causing it, it's only started occuring since i updated Firefox to v2.0.0.12

Also, that's bloody just the same thing, except i'll be installing a single file constantly whenever i wish to use Firefox, instead of constantly just reinstalling firefox.
