Warning spyware detected on your computer

I can't neither change my desktop, there was also a pop up asking me to install some software " antyspyware xp 2008 only $ 79.99 " but ofcourse I refused. I've found the infected files, I've deleted it but nothing changes... I've restored them to scan them with zone alarm but it found nothing... oh no wait it found a super dangerous tracking cookie ( woooow 50 € wasted on a shitty antivirus )

I tried googling but most of the time I found wrote things like " men you have to buy the software also format "

HJave you already encountered something like that ? Help pls !

I remember someone else posting about a virus similar to this. The blue desktop is a popup or something.

which would disable the internet connection at all? Well I would agree, its a solution in some way

And on a side note, there is a new, modern threat called "fake antiviruses". You download some "spyware removal tool" or an "award winning antivirus" from a popup, it acts like a scanner and finds some shit on your computer, but in fact it does nothing at all besides spying and collecting your data.

Download spyware doctor..

And spybot..
And AVG too

Run them together..

Also i dont know that they confilct or not.. (IMO Spyware doctor is the best, but not free Spyware doctor is..)

But do it hurry, the internet will be gone after 5-6 Days..

It do popup's like download this anti-virus, the company needed money, thats why they did this so people will buy it and stuff... :$

If you need serials.. i will Pm.. yeah i know illegal stuff but.. :$

Ive encountered many clients who get similar popups. They are all a scam to make you think
there is a danger to your pc and to get your money so they can tell you all is ok.

Popup says you have virus etc. You pay for the program it tells you to get. Program scans and
finds a load of virii and spyware and fixes the problems that didnt exist in the first place.

The thing is you already have some maliscious software on your computer hence the popup.

free.avg.com is the free version if AVG that I use all the time.

Spybot Search and Destroy and others mentioned in previous posts.

I also use Glary Utilities.

The ad itself isn't really spyware, not always anyway. It is of course, spam and it is adware. Adware is usually just fucking annoying and as Leenuks said, it's made to make you believe whatever the message is.

Btw, correct link: http://free.avg.com/

You get Spyware
Spyware says "Lol you have virus, oh no, it's ok though, you can use our FREE TOOL to remove it"
You go to site
It attempts to charge you £90 for said "Free tool"
You leave site, install anti spyware/virus and live happily.

You can do a System Restore to before the spyware appeared on your comp.
