Bad FPS on Vista, OpenGL

Postby Bear » Sun Nov 09, 08 5:23 pm

I get about 700 fps on Direct3D top graphics, and then about 60 with OpenGL, I am on Vista, is there any way to fix this problem? As I prefer the OpenGL graphics to Direct3D.

DeusEx.ini -> [OpenGLDrv.OpenGLRenderDevice] -> FrameRateLimit=60

Then turn off vertical sync,
Code: Select all
UseVSync=False

I am still geting an FPS of 60, the frame rate limiter was at 0 so I changed to 700. There is no code for VSync=False in the OpenGL Settings so i added it, and still no diffrence. I am on a Laptop, using Core 2 Duo 2Ghz 4MB of L2Cache.

Oh damn, I didn't realize you wanted to have a high fps.

Then change VSync to True.

It says 60 for me too, but I doubt there's much of a difference between 700 and 60 in display wise =/ (It can't be much smoother than I have already I doubt!)
