Help no music

can anyone help me> i have trouble with the music bot. i cant listen to the music on it or off any map, i dont even get the music on when dx loads up, it seems to go off when i put on the patch for dx no-cd, can anyone help?

its ok people, the bloody patch that i installed kept turning the sound off, and to think i have been wondering for ages,
