LOW widescreen resolution in Deus Ex?

Hey!

Is there any way to set the resolution in Deus Ex really low but still widescreen like "800x450" or "1024x576"?

I tried changing the deusex.ini as well using the custom resolution option in the "deus exe" mod. Unfortunately the game always sets itself to 1024x768 which of course is streched on my 16:9.

Native 1366x768 works but is unplayable because my monitor is only 11" and text is way to small ingame.

Thanks!

Hm, can't say I have any experience with Deus Exe myself, though having tried using the default resolutions I can say that 720x480 works as a makeshift low-res 16:9 resolution, though you'll really be getting something like 16:10.333[...], resulting in small (but not missable) black bars on the top and bottom of the screen.

It's a shame that your monitor doesn't support a resolution in excess of 900 pixels high. If it did you could just use native resolution and the HUD/text would be scaled as if the screen was 640x480 due to a bug/limitation in how the window code works. :(

Thanks for your answer.

Turns out I forgot to add custom resolutions to my catalyst driver.

800x450 works now, and it's not even pixelated because the monitor is so tiny.
