map mismatch
Posted: Tue Dec 23, 03 7:06 pmwhen i try to play a game of dx multiplayer and the map is cathedral it comes up with map mismatch. how can i sort this?

Posted: Fri Feb 27, 04 11:55 amYea, just delete the map that you have currently in your folder (This case being 'dxmp_cathedral.dx').
I've heard a lot of cases where players would have mismatch with this, the mismatched maps are for whatever reason distributed on some legit copies of Deus Ex, deleting the original faulty map from C:DeusExMaps (< Default installation folder) and download the version from a up-to-date server (Such as 'DX Open Server' / 12.98.197.60 for example) should fix the problem.
Just thought I update this question, in case new players are still in doubt on what to do.
