I think i got the longest error message possible in DX!

BTW - What does it mean?

wow its really long!
i'm not expert but i think its something like a cyclical error caused by the creation of some particle, so something with the graphics... i think

oh i understand why and i understand the cause of the error too :lol:

once i went to the server of a friend of mine, he gave me the pass and i showed him the power of a projectilegenerator (with fireball): he really loved it and asked how to do it, but i didnt tell him (coz i'm evil! :twisted:

) and moreover i spwned another two and set the projectileclass to rocket, then i went away: few seconds later he was calling me an idiot on msn coz i crashed his game... :lol:

Btw from your error I'm guessing that you ran out of RAM and the one that it tried to process was the fragment which it couldn't hence *crash*? I'm guessing that

(Don't worry it's only a half hearted guess :wink:

)

It happend with the Flash bang before Jim fixed it (Ppl would set off lot's and it would crash lower spec computers)

Are you saying that 512 MB isnt enough ram for DX

Are you saying i have a low spec comp?

The only thing that is low spec about it is my Geoforce4 MX420 card, im upgrading soon to FX 5700 / 5900 as i can pick em up for Â£120 - Â£140

Now I know I need more RAM, I only have 256.
THe RAM is really cheap here, so I just need about 100 euro and I have 1024.

Well, once i've written a function that launches itself unlimited times. Then my Win98 (on old computer) written a GPF where is no button 'OKAY' and title (it were far away from the screen border i think). My GPF > shizownz your ones

I don't have Win98 installed now on any of my 4 computer at home. WinXP, i guess, have a protection to oversized windows.

Thats a real shame :cry:

i really wanted to see it. Was the message focoused arond one repetitive thing or lots of diffrent things ( like mine ). The easy way to get an error message is killall actor :!:
