Actually, we have quite a lot of characters voiced by professionals. The main character is voiced by Jeremiah Costello and has about 3000 lines.
I will admit that there are a few characters with a bit of "sub-par" quality. But the overwhelming majority of the more than 14 hours of voice acting is quite pleasing to the ear.
