At least Achéro is trying, unlike me and all the rest of you lazy fucks who can't even give constructive cristism.

That is why the world fails. People love to critisize but never give suggestions to make anything better.

There's nothing to make better here. The entire idea is doomed for fail. I do wish im luck though. I like tea.

Thanks Psychotic. I just find a good majority of people on these forums
to be pesimistic.. When bringing ex back isn't really that difficult.. Everyone is just too lazy to really try. If you guys arn't going to help bring back the game you love.. Then I sure as hell will.

I am like the rest, pessimistic and lazy. I am here because I like the community and I enjoy Deus Ex: Singleplayer.

I didn't mind DXMP and I played it a few times over the years but FPS multiplayer games are something I've never gotten into as much as MMO's or other RPG games. TF2 is the only FPS game that I find myself playing a lot. A lot more than I ever played Deus Ex.

I am extremely pessimistic about Deus Ex's return to the multiplayer scene, and quite frankly, I just don't care. I never did, for the aforementioned reasons.

This doesn't mean I'm going to shun every single idea to revive Deus Ex away. I love your idea, I don't think it will help but that doesn't mean I hate it. I love many of the ideas created to try and revive Deus Ex but I just don't find it worth saving anymore (again, I never really cared tbh though).

So while I think your idea is a good start, I honestly couldn't care less if DXMP lives or dies so long as this forum doesn't. DXALPHA was a very large Deus Ex related forum, now I think of it more as a community forum and I like it that way personally.

Your post sucks dick and you've never been an elite with anything Deus Ex related.

Now I've made two offensive posts today and one yesterday. Sorry Alex, Dae and James I'll try to behave now

You've never been an elite with anything Deus Ex related.

In fact, are you imagining the word elite? I made this inspection last night:

Stop thinking you're important to a community, all you have are opinions most of us already share.

/flaming

Let's get back on topic. :)

Does anyone know any Major forum sites?

Anything that has regular users that would perhaps be interested in playing Deus Ex?

If Gametap AND Steam couldn't bring an influx of new players to the MP you'd have to do more than offer another free download. Rather than throw in a bunch of terrible maps new players wouldn't know how to access anyway, why not offer a portable blow job dispenser with every download?

Cool Story Bro.

I think I'll Introduce it on forums with a fanbase that appreciates graphics that of Deus Ex, as on other forums people will instantly turn down Deus Ex Soley based on it's... well.... graphics. :)

We just need to find an appreciative bunch.. that's all.

I think a Deus Ex-appropriate storyline or mod should be made with a newer engine, kind of like what the UT2004 port was. Only Deus Ex on the Dunia or Havok engine...

It certainly would be a refreshing break from seeing 200 poly weapons and absolutely no nature or foliage whatosever.

I'd like to see an exact remake of Deus Ex with no features pulled. I don't think anyone can argue against that.

So basically, Deus Ex with better graphics?

If so, I'd love to see this myself.

Personally the whole "X Game with better graphics" thing I would love for a few games. But I doubt it'll happen for the vast majority of them.

I'd like "X game with worse graphics". Maybe I could run them then.

I thought there was already a mod in progress to remake the singleplayer with a better engine.

A remake would only be interesting for me if the developers added more realism by completely revisiting all the levels, pick-ups, decorations; added new scripted scenes, effects, maybe new alternative ways of solving old puzzles (considering new technical capabilities of the engine). I would even happily buy this.

Otherwise I don't see much use of porting to another engine. In case of DX:R, there was almost no difference in graphics compared to the original game. Besides, the engine is already outdated.

I'd rather see Deus Ex keep true to its Unreal origins, instead of being a generic Valve game.

I honestly can't see that sorry.

As Cata just posted above, I believe the Unreal routes or something based off it (like Capcom's engine they're using for all their games for the moment) would be great for Deus Ex.

Now that I'm back, I would like to say that DXFE is being downloaded by quite a bunch of people.

When I have more time.. I'll update the installer...

This plan isn't doing too bad though.. Thanks to a youtube vid and a alot of video commenting and spamming
