I love the DirectX 10 support thing. The graphics look amazing.

The screenshot which is on the main page is just CG, but the others are real afaik.

DX10 doesn't really change much tbh, he's using the ENB Series modification to get the bloom and highlights on the bricks. I don't like it really though, it just looks like everything's coated in goo

Bump mapping is what it is, IIRC. I've never really liked it, looks like plastic wrap. The guns look nice. And is that milbot different looking (aside from colour)? First time round I thought it was, but maybe I just expected it to so I did. Second time it looks no different from the original (again, except for colours).

Nah the bump mapping is fine, it looks good, but the shiny bloom kills it for me :(

It looks like everything is soaking wet.

There will be an option to turn bloom off for those who don't like it, don't worry :)

Ah, excellent. Although perhaps it can be tweaked rather than turned off. :)

Correct, Ded said some screenshots are somewhat outdated as he improved the configuration recently.

Some screenshots are oversaturated with bloom (like those in the 4th gallery) due to configuration problems, I will fix that. All new shader stuff can be turned off from options, but I can't guarantee that graphics will be good in that way, since I optimize textures & light for these new advanced effects.

Also, screenshots - 2nd gallery, 2nd image - The blurring in the background, is that added to the sshot later? Or have you implemented some kind of field-of-view focus system?

I don't think there's much difference between DX9 and DX10, though.

There is a huge difference. DX10 renderer makes the game look much better, however, a lot of noticeable artifacts appear. For instance, I once threw a gas grenade and while gassed I could see masked textures (for example ladders and pink\gray\black mask tex on pawns).

It depends highly on the developers. DirectX 9 has limits DirectX 10 doesn't have, DX10 also has the possibility of having better graphics than DX9, if developers actually use the full potential of it to their advantage that is.

I notice a difference between DX9 and DX10 graphics in games like Far Cry 2, but not as much in Deus Ex (between DX9 and 10).

I would love to see the pictures, but I guess I'll have to wait untill I get home. I'm at school, where Ultrasurf is blocked and air proxy (only unblocked proxy), won't let me view russian sites :S

I'm sure it looks amazing though. Can't wait to play =D

At that video, I was amazed to see those weapons, truly awesome!

But eh, I think it looks the same as ENBSeries thing.

Also, if there is no voicing for the characters.. I don't think this will be that great as TNM. Because sound does matter.. seriously..
