No way, we don't want any DX2 gameplay antics.

No ports for DX please leave it sacred.

Well I can't play it on this PC if it has next gen graphics Sad

And you're not willing to buy a new one for DX3?

Anyone feel it's somehow not right to say DX3? Seems strange.

It's cheaper to upgrade my old one, but parts are still expensive.

But we can always hope it turns out like COD4, with almost no similarities between the PC and console versions.

Well I'm sure we don't care if you can't play it on PC and the rest of people who can't on release, we just don't want it to be dumbed down, do you realise how stupid its gonna be to activate augs?, how short the game will be?
I wan't a double DVD disc masterpiece, not a fucking short game.

Also, CURRENT generation. Rolling Eyes

I'd prefer to stay on the the PC - the classic way. Sure, go onto next-gen consoles, but I'd rather it be made for the PC primarily.

I'm buying it, even though my PC won't be able to run it, I'm buying it. I have the other two, gotta complete the legend lol.

Current generation is Crysis. By the time this will be completed, it will be next generation, since it will be done somewhere in the middle of 2009 if they pace themselves. Smile

And you can't even be too sure it will have augs, calm down and give consoles a chance, it's not even released yet and we don't know anything about it so give it some time.

I hope it has augs, lol. But if it's set in 2027 which I can only assume is "pre-aug" stage, then it might not. Or they may be very primitive.

And, I actually hope they pace themselves. I'm in no hurry, and I don't think anyone else should be. It has been around 3-4 years since the last DX game. Another 2-3 years is nothing really (as long as DX1 lives that long). Though I'm hoping that this DX3 will give DXMP another few years to live.

I also think they should go at a steady pace so as to not make a fuck up game. So that every detail they do is near perfect in our [the gamers] eyes. And if it has multiplayer, what do we call that? DXMP2 LOL.

What.
Theres always two generations a calendar generation, which lasts for 5 or more years.
Last time I checked we're not even in the middle of one.

Yeah well, so was Da Vinci, is he gonna be an NPC in the game then? You can't be sure, again, it's in an early stage of development.

I'm not ignorant of how bad console games can be, I have Goldeneye Rogue Agent on PS2, lol.

The smart move right now would be to wait for the game to actually be released instead of dismissing it as crap before it's even developed. If or when it gets released on a console, and it actually is dumbed down or crap, then you can say "I told you so." I'm not praising all console games as godlike, there are some disappointments of course.

Well it would be crap, thats the thing. Everyone else agrees because it has already happened with the DX series.
And once again, stupidity, a DX game without augs? I think you're wasting your time arguing, its obviously not what people want and you're possibly one of the very few, if not the only person who'd love to see this on their 360. Which is a spit in the face after what DXIW turned out to be. Millions of fans stand against you, kotaku, joystiq, IGN, TTGL, gamefaqs, destructoid, /v/, somethingawful, all the other important gaming review/fans of DX sites and this forum.

And frankly, I don't think you exactly know what you're saying with the "relax, whats the worse that can happen" approach.

In all honesty, Deus Ex on a console wouldn't be the worst that could happen. So long as the storyline isn't dumbed down (too much anyway) and it doesn't look like shit. However, in saying that, I still believe it's better on PC.

Btw, 360 sucks cock.

That's what I'm saying, it's actually a chance for DX to redeem themselves in consoles since they got a new developer.

Quote:

When IW was released, were you expecting normal ammo or universal ammo? That's an example of how aspects of the original game can change as the series progresses.

If it comes out on the 360, I will play it on the 360, and you can play it on the PC and do whatever you want. You can form your own opinions at that time, until then, no matter how much you say I'm stupid for supporting it on the 360, it will be void because you haven't played it yet and are basing your arguments on past experiences and pure speculation.

Frankly I think you're not used to seeing change, and expect way too little from the series, you act as if you're developing the game yourself.

Yet again.
It's in an early stage of development and you must be open-minded and ready to expect anything. Of course, augs in the game is a very large possibility, but again, be open-minded. Is it so hard to be open-minded for you? Neutral

Why can't I choose not to be open-minded about consoles, I have the right to because of DX: IW's gameplay being spoiled by cross-platform development.

Now stop being sarcastic and stay off these forums like I told you too, except you obviously keep coming back to fool yourself.

Oh, and its not in development yet idiot.

I'm really looking forward to this one.

I just hope they target and destroy the mistakes Invisible War had in it, to be honest I'd say that to me Invisible War is the first part in the series, where the first Deus Ex actually is the second game in the series(Gameplay wise).

I wouldn't, 2009-2010?, I'd rather have it on the next-generation console.
If it was made a console game, it would be 8 hours long too thanks to limited 1 DVD disc potential and the bootup from disc.
