Access Blocked
If you believe you have reached this error page erroneously, please complete the form below. To aid in resolving the situation, we need to know the name of your internet service provider. Other relevant information you are willing to provide, such as the time of your connection attempt and the city, state, and country you're connecting from, may be very helpful. While we don't want to invade anyone's privacy, if you know the IP number you're connecting through, that is extremely helpful. Any such information provided will be used _only_ for technical support and site security purposes.
Some of the immediate security measures we take to maintain the integrity of our system may temporarily affect the ability of some responsible users to connect to PetitionOnline.com. This is especially likely for a small fraction of AOL users, since AOL is functioning at the moment as a haven for vandals. Because some other ISPs, like ATT.net, share access points with AOL, their users may also be effected.
In the long run, we won't let a few miserable provocateurs ruin the free speech of millions of responsible participants at PetitionOnline.com. By calm persistence, together we will hold the upper hand over that tiny number of people who apparently can't handle the basic responsibilities of free speech. Don't let the vandals get to you, and let's not give them any unnecessary satisfaction along the way.
Thank you for your patience!

The option to play DXMP without augs has existed from the start. It is PART OF THE GAME, get over it. And what of mods? You don't (yet) attack my mod, but why not? By your flawed logic, it isn't part of the original game design so it does not deserve to exist! This is a pointless and counterproductive effort which, I believe has nothing to do with an attempt to bring DX to how it used to be. It is merely a selfish, childish grab for power and control, which is not rightfully yours. Get lost. We are free to play what games we like. If you continue to ruin DX, we will just play something else.

Hi Chuck
Of course as pretty much everyone else on the internet, I'm a great fan, hell you kicked Bruce Lee's ass fair and square.
Anyway, me and fellow colleagues of a much loved Dystopian intellectual Role Playing game, Deus Ex are experiencing very bad machinations of someone who has used various technical methods to destroy specific parts of our community.
If you could read the following petition in your own time; http://www.petitiononline.com/dx2006mp/petition.html
And preferably get back to the community on your views we would be very grateful.
The forums you want to visit are www.dxalpha.com and http://triad.deusex-online.com/forums/index.php?act=idx
If you could please express yourself to this individual who is attempting to control our community we might have a chance to show him the error of his ways.
Very Kind Regards
Ben "MrBlack" Quinn
Hello
Now, I fully understand protocol, unfortunately I could not obtain Mr Spector's personal or business email myself, and this contact was the best I could obtain.
Before you discard this email, if you could please understand that while the following matter may seem trivial, it is infact for the players of one of Warren's greatest product, Deus Ex, who while not a part of the creation of game, a large factor in the success of games.
Anyway, the community which enjoys Deus Ex, in particular Deus Ex: Multiplayer, has come under an attack of what can only be described as blatant predujice facism. A member of the community, known only under his alias as "Dejavu", has begun to attack servers, payed or privately hosted, which contain one of the sub-sectors of DXMP, known as Zero-Augs.
Apologies for assuming ignorance, but since Multiplayer was delivered as a seperate patch to Deus Ex, the Multiplayer community has rifted into two main sects, those who enjoy Augged play, and those who enjoy Zero-Augged play. The ratio of those who play Zero over Augged is higher, because of the simplicity and intense skill required for Zero-Augs, it has a bigger popularity with those new to the game or those who want to experience something different.
Dejavu, a person who has utilised current "hacking" technology, has begun to send a large amount of packet flow on automated bots to servers which host Zero-Aug play, this then causes the server to quickly crash. The reason for doing this, he has proclaimed to be that all players should only have access to "real DXMP", "real DXMP" is the claim of the more zealous Augged players. When you have clearly stated in one article regarding games, "I'm completely opposed to enforcing limitations on game content.", it seems logical that you would not take this idea on board with any respect for those who believe that restricting a whole community will revitalise it.
I'm not sure if this is a request or maybe just a statement to inform you on the current events, but I know that you as the creator of such a fantastic game should be informed of such an atrocity commited for it. If it was possible that you were the "GOD of DX" and you could "Strike down Dejavu" and I don't know, somehow stop him from creating all of this mess that would obviously be great. All I really hoped by sending you this email is that somewhere you have read the thing and that you would try as well as you could to make the situation better.
Thanks very much if you are reading this Warren, or at least someone who has taken time to read this before it goes into the trash.
Kindest regards and many thanks.
A devoted DX and games in general fan - Ben "MrBlack" Quinn
(P.S. I'm creating a modification for Deus Ex, its a team based class choosing objective modification for DXMP, its called Deus Ex: Arx Genus, very bad latin for "Team Fortress", its in early stages however I have released betas to the community and they enjoyed it enough to at least put a smile on my face. Why I'm telling you this? Well, maybe you were interested because it is your creation after all, that and if I find a letter asking me to join your team, well, I might consider it.)
