Before proceeding onto reading the articles within the Knowledge Base, you may want to familiarize youself with some of the basics of Deus Ex Multiplayer.

Firstly, I would strongly recommend reading these two guides:

http://www.dxalpha.co.uk/kb/improvements/deusex-ini-settings - A detailed annitation of the file DeusEx.ini, this will provide you with the basic knowledge of this file, which is mentioned throughout the Knowledge Base.

http://www.dxalpha.co.uk/kb/troubleshooting/viewing-extensions - This article provides you with the information you will require when asked to place a certain file somewhere, locate a file or/and edit a file.

After briefly reading those two guides, you will be equip with enough knowledge to understand the basics of what the articles are telling you. If you don't understand an article you are reading, don't worry! You are welcome to post on our forum board under Technical Issues, which is located here:
