Using multiple masterservers

This short guide will involve a mod known as MMUserInterface created by [A]lex. For more information and to download this mod, click here. At the moment the list of servers might be kind of empty, maybe you'll be able to see 5-6 servers max. This is because you are only viewing a list taken from one masterserver, GameSpy's. A masterserver is a computer that collects information from the game servers and outputs it to user. With MMUserInterface, you are given the ability to view lists from more masterservers at one time. After installing the mod, your serverlist will start to look more healthly with anything from 10-20 servers.

Installation

The mod is now very easy to install, with an auto extractor, you as a user need to do nothing but run the installer. Once this is done (takes about 5 seconds) then you're done! There are more advanced techniques to viewing masterservers, such as changing the option bCombineMasterServers (in your DeusEx.ini) to False. This will make a new "Text box" appear at the bottom of your serverlist, allowing your to enter the different masterserver into the field. This is not advisable however, and it is a lot easier to simply keep bCombineMasterServers on True (As it is by default).
