Oh please. Australia did bloody awsome to even get into the World cup. Gussy boy got a $850K bonus for Australia just getting into the next tier. I am quite proud of Australia's run, and I don't get bitter over sport.

However.

If you walk down the street, look away, and run into a lamp post, do you get a foul? Of course you don't. A video ref would have made the right choice, which would have been an Italian corner. Italy still would of had the advatage, and it would have taken about 10 seconds. (Less time then it takes for a player to roll around on the ground trying to tell the ref his leg is broken in two and he'll never walk again.)

Either your lack of understanding of the points I'm putting forward is sickening, or you are delibretly ignoring them. Either way, you are missing the points. (And not only mine, at that.)

Ad about the video ref, it wouldn't take long at all. They have those little headsets and it takes what, 2 seconds for a replay to come upon to your screen. 8-10 seconds max to come up with a verdict.
