My dentist thought i was scared of needles the other day. Went in to have a temporary (1 of those white things) filling on a small crack in a back tooth (molar if you're Darknight) and when she told me to open my mouth so she could jab me with the 4 inch needle, i needed to swallow. but my mouth was so dry (hot weather) it took me about 6 seconds to open it due to waiting so i could swallow. anyhow, she took this as a sign i was shitting it, and started sayin "there there, i'll be gentle. nothing to worry about". i'm 21, not 12 ffs.

A word of advice for some people who don't know this, Doctors and Dentists are liars, if they say it won't hurt...it will!

Hahaha yeh, when I was little and cracked my skull they were stitching it and said "this won't hurt at all" it fucking killed LOL

It didn't hurt me (ooo, er i'm 'ard). really it was because she numbed me. It tasted fucking disgusting though. I come to the conclusion it was my own blood poolin at the back of my throat that i could taste. And when i need to swallow, i was swallowing blood diluted with water. Urgh.

I remember my first operation, God that anasthetic made me dizzy for 5 days and every 10 minutes or so I had to piss which didn't help me orientate myself. The main reason was I lied in bed for 5 days until the wounds healed.

I'm 21 in a few months.

When I had to get blood drawn (At the age of 13'ish), it took 3 nurses to pin me to the bed and draw the blood.
(This was to check if I had glandular fever.)

When I was little and still living in PNG, I had the misfortune of getting stuck 3 times in the mouth while at the dentist, the needles, of course, being in PNG, where fscking huge as they where for adults. (No fancy medical equipment for j00!)

My most recent trip to get blood drawn, which was still quite a few years ago, the nurse put the needle through my vien, twice. She tried to get the vien in the one arm 5 times, without actually getting. Then she finally drew blood from the other arm.
(This was to check if I had Leukemia, but it ended up being severe lead posioning.)

When I was little and living in PNG (again), we had to get ALL of the shots you'd need for a tropical jungle community that has most of the diseases that Australia eliminated years ago.

During all of this, I got told 'Don't worry, it won't hurt'.

Thus all Doctors, dentists, and nurses are liars, and it will take 5 orderlies to hold me down these days.
(You should have seen the comotion I caused when I had my tonsiles out, LOL.)

hmmm , i reacted a little bit in panic when i needed to get blood drawn aswell lol ( for me it was a random test , i sometimes loose conciousness all of a sudden , mostly when i get up to fast , main cause of this is just my low blood pressure )

I had to have knockout gas when I was having one of my operations, I was kicking doctors all over the place and screaming. I was only young, but I really didn't want the Op.
I've been okay in operations ever since.
