Your theory is false. The universe was one giant sphere with matter (stardust) inside it. It was slowly starting to expand and extract, until the matter curved up inside of it. Then it blew up, releasing the matter.

The universe was a googolaplex of matter and size. Nothing was developed before the big bang.

Why is it so taboo to insult Christianity but people so easily insult Islam? You'll not find me defending either beliefs, as I think it's all equally silly, but what is even more silly is the fact that everyone automatically equates Islam to terrorism.

I've read the Qur'an, I have a copy. I've read the bible. If you guys would, you'd see how similar it is. I find it especially hilarious when I see Christians insult the Muslim faith. I saw a protest where Christian extremists were shouting "FUCK ALLAH" What they failed to realize is that Allah is just Arabic for "God", and that Allah is essentially the game god they worship themselves. It's all based on the same God, but the differing faiths chose to believe different stories about him.

I feel that if there were a God(Which there isn't) he would have to have a sense of humour, and laugh at his followers as much as I do.

Oh?

Christianity gets insulted alot, but people just don't care.
But when Islam gets insulted the whole fucking world has to apologize to the Islam, 'or else'.

I don't care about Christianity, they don't harm anybody I guess, but Islam does.

Oh? Ever heard of a little thing called the crusades?

Think of any war you can, ALMOST all wars have religious undertones. There is a religious reason for almost every war. Perhaps it's not the primary reason for the war, but I assure you there is religion in there somewhere.

Once again, you automatically relate the Islam faith to the Muslim radicals. As if Christianity doesn't have extremists.

Peace is the most basic and underlying message of Christianity and Islam both. It's the extremists who take the holy books too literally that fuck things up for everyone.

Crusades lmao, talk about the time we live in, Christians have become pretty much normal people, maybe a little odd but they don't hurt anyone.
Muslims however are still stuck in that time, maybe they aren't as voilent as they used to be, but they still are.

Most wars I can think of have religious understones yes, most of them also involving Islam.

Christianity have extremists, but they don't blow themselfs up and they don't behead people.

Wow you sure know what you're talking about!

I guess since because it happened 900 years ago it's no longer important, right? I'd like you to consider this:
Al-Qaeda used their faith as reason to attack America. They said God told them to. When George Bush retaliated, do you know his reasoning? God told him to.
Dubya wrote:God told me to strike at al Qaida and I struck them, and then he instructed me to strike at Saddam, which I did, and now I am determined to solve the problem in the Middle East. If you help me I will act, and if not, the elections will come and I will have to focus on them.
-- George W Bush, according to Palestinian Prime Minister Mahmoud Abbas, from minutes acquired by Haaretz from cease-fire negotiations between Abbas and faction leaders from the Hamas, Islamic Jihad and the Popular and Democratic Fronts (circa, June, 2003), quoted from Arnon Regular, "'Road map is a life saver for us,' PM Abbas tells Hamas" (Haaretz.com: June 27, 2003), quoted from EvilOz (The Iterative Record)

You're speaking of the extremists, not the majority of Muslims. Simply because a few radicals use their faith as a way to say what they do isn't terrorism, you want to blame the entire faith.

Timothy McVeigh, remember him? The Oklahama City bomber? He was a Catholic. That must mean all Catholics are terrorists. He was white, too. Fuck those white people.

*EDIT* I would like to say one thing. The number of extremists from both sides is growing at an alarming rate. If more believers acted the way they preached, perhaps I wouldn't have such a problem with religion. My only problem with people who present your type of argument is that it's always so biased. You automatically defend Christianity and attack Islam, and I just can't understand that.

Though, most Muslims are extremists, and support war, like that stuff with the Hezbollah, not too long ago.

Wikipedia wrote:In parliamentary election of January 2006, 57% of Palestinians voted for Hamas.

I don't have to explain what Hamas is right?

Wikipedia wrote:A Daily Telegraph survey showed that 6% of British Muslims fully supported the July 2005 bombings in the London Underground.

6% is quite alot, I don't have to tell you that.

About Timothy McVeigh, there's always a rotten apple, did 6% of the Christians think what he did was right? No.

As for the fuck whites part, lol good one. We are discussing religion here, not race.

You automatically defend Christianity and attack Islam, and I just can't understand that.

I guess it's because I wasn't born in the sand.

Indeed it is a lot, read the end of my last post where I said the growing number is alarming.

Did 6% of Muslims agree with the attacks? Nope.... Unless all Muslims moved to the UK and I wasn't informed.

You obviously believe one form of discrimination is worse than another.

The double entendre in that sentence actually made me grin.

Do you have to insinuate that I'm lesser educated than you are to "prove" your point? I was born in the South to a poor family, so next time you want to demean me try calling me a dumb hillbilly, or something.

Quite frankly I wouldn't mind one bit if Christianity and Islam destroyed each other, I just wish more people would educate themselves before taking a side.

I think if ALL muslims would have been asked, the percantage would've been higher, I guess we can't know for sure, but it's still a high percantage wether it are all muslims or not. Do you think the Muslims outside UK are less extremist? I don't think so.

You obviously believe one form of discrimination is worse than another.

In this matter, yes, I do.
People can't choose their race, but they can choose their religion, at least where I live we can.

No I didn't intend to at all, was just trying to make it less serious. :)

Quite frankly I wouldn't mind one bit if Christianity and Islam destroyed each other, I just wish more people would educate themselves before taking a side.

I don't care either, and I don't really take a side, point is that my country has been raised under Christianity, and not Islam, and here we can give our opinion and make our own decisions, you don't see that in many Islamic countries, that's why I'd prefer Christianity.

What country is that? Is it the USA?

If so, it wasn't formed under Christianity nor is it ran by Christians. Christianity just happens to be the majority.

And what a great choice they give you when the right wing political values that have try so hard to take away our civil liberties. We're no better off than any other countries when it comes to such affairs, we just have the veil over our eyes and fail to notice.

We don't get killed or hanged for our opinions, I think that means we are pretty much better off then Islamic countries.

Tell me this:

What went bang?

How did the matter get there to go bang?

Where is space expanding into?

What happens if it reaches the end?

What's beyond the end?

Why is there an end?

Now, prove your answers.

Then, once you have done so, you will have a person with no faith.

Um...close, but not really.

1. Matter, yes.
2. No. It just was. It didn't just suddenly generate, it's always been there.
3. Wrong. The answer is nothing.
4. Uh..the end of what?
5. See above.
6. Again, the end of what? Of nothingness? That's not possible...

Actually, a lot of it is proven by observations.

The fact that the universe is expanding from a central point shows that there was a force that initially pushed everything away from that point. That observation leads us to the big bang theory.
