Really what happened? I know I havn't been here from the start, I don't claim to have. But since I came to these forums, the place was a laugh, it was good for a joke.

Sure there was the serious stuff, but there were the jokers too. They kept to their seperate parts of the forums.

What happened to the 2am spam topics in the spam forum from Jay, with me, ruben, eric, keith and to a certain extent allan, whom we could rely on to kill the joke?

What happened to the good times? The togetherness of the forums? Where everyone would get together once in a while and have a game on funline?

All this forum is now is diversion and disaster. I love this clan I really do and I fucking love these forums. But all it is now is a deserted place with a few people who talk about DX and a couple of people who stick to the chat forums and thats fine, but what isn't fine is that people are being driven away. People that are most important to these forums, people that actually make this place fun and make it a laugh.

All it is now is the sensible people and the kiddies who still say noob and pwnage. What the hell happened guys? What happened to our awesome forums that basically was and is the biggest DX multiplayer site, forums and resource centre?

People, we have Dae and we have Alex to be sensible, at the end of the day if all hell breaks loose, it will be them that sorts it out. The day people try to police and moderate the chat forums, is the day this site dies.

Sort it out lads, before this place is fucked.

So uh.. this topic is saying we shouldn't moderate General Chat and stuff like that?

It was even better BEFORE we had the spam topics, when there was journals all about the place, Marco, Bob and Ben would prowl the forums saying "nein" every second post...

One of them would refer to Jay's mom's big nose and laughs would be had.

Still though, there was suppose to be some sort of proper "reform" since DX3 was announced to give this place a bit more seriousness but it's not really made it any better or presentable to be honest.

People have been driven away from the forums since a VERY early stage due to seriousness or even lack of maturity.

I remember at one stage DCSB Mole harping on about how the forums were a cesspool of immaturity (of course these posts often ended with how great DCSB forums were ), now the new plebs of the forum believe it's too serious...

Can't seem to win

So should we be more or less serious? Clans that are full of immature people seem to last less than a year, and the forums get closed.

I haven't changed.

We should get the fucking idiots out of the forums. It's like communism: it works well on a small scale where there's no dumbasses to tear the system apart, but we grew too large and the young bloods (figuratively, I'm fairly young) don't know how to moderate themselves.

me caring about DXMP and the community
Marco (and the whole [V]/[M] crew)
the sense of companionship we had

No if power corrupts I would have banned you 3 months ago. Some people perhaps, I like to think the Forum Guard are above it. I'm certainly not "Corrupt" by it atleast, it's a privallege to Moderate:

I dont have any, and the ones I did have were probably deserved in my case. I will still continue to say it like I see it, a little yellow box wont stop that.

You'd only get banned if you deserved it, the odd 3 day warning which may be unfair isn't going to kill anyone.

Appealing on this forum against a warning is redundant. It doesn't do any good. In the end, the person with the warning will just get banned. I've heard about that happening several times in the past.

People's warnings have been sucessfully appealed in the past.

Your one was in the RANT box for a start, and your appeal also included flamming. If you created a normal topic in the right place you would have stood a lot higher chance. But yes, if you have a warning for a valid reason, the Forum Guard will be reluctant to remove it unless you can prove why you shouldn't have it, i.e. provoked.

I don't recall saying anything about me in my last Post. In fact I was referring to somethings I've heard. I'm not even going to get into my warnings with you because in the end you'll probably just get me banned. But to clear that air, My first warning was stated that it contributed nothing or some crap like that. With that said, Don't bring it back up. I'm in no mood to fight with a group that isn't even going to listen.

On another note There was a post in this topic I do agree with. You guys do warn people for no reason. For example Baleout was warned for asking "Oh Really?" Seriously Kaiden, You need to explain to me how that post was deserving of a warning. To be honest, It has me a bit confused as I only saw a question... Last time I checked, there was nothing against asking a question, no matter how rhetorical it maybe. Perhaps you guys need to focus a bit more on diplomacy rather than warning people for every little thing that violates your personal preferences. Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to flame you guys, I'm saying you guys need to layoff a bit and chill out.

I think it's a better atmosphere when people act more immature, but post in the spam section do make you laugh, and some still do

Legion, look more closely at Baleout's post please, you may notice some of the following:

He pasted an image of a warning
He used paint to write all over the warning
It's a copy of a warning I gave to someone else
You can't click on the links within it.

And incase you don't understand what all that means, IT IS FAKE.
