The driver could have gotten in a lot of trouble, and only when the child got physically violent did she respond.

You say the child got physically violent? Your just as bad as the driver Kaiden. I saw no violent actions, just only the driver and her daughter physically touching her. Also, the driver slams the girls cellphone on the ground. You're right that the girl shouldn't be let off the bus, because the driver is responsible for anything that happens to her afterwards.

Maybe the bus driver was right about not letting off her but hitting the girl and fuckin up her phone wasn't a very wise thing. I would put both to jail.
