Okay, I've had my PS3 now for atleast 8 months, i noticed about 2 months ago the fact that the GPU is overheating a lot and gives out a lot of noise. i was on GTA 4 before and next minute this horrible fucking screeching sound comes out of nowhere me shitting one turns the TV off thinking this is the problem, No. The fucking Playstations pissing on its self cause its not been used in a while and decided to fuck up. Fuck you sony. :shock:

really its the graphics card over heating and the fucking think kaploding in the middle of gta when the sound of Screeching is louder than the tv

I own 2 PS3s
I wouldn't say I play them very often, but had 0 problems so far

it doesn't overheat for me and doesn't make too much noise. my PC is two times louder

Yeah, PS3's have supreme build quality and reliability; a nice change from the PS2 DISK READ ERROR.

I've personally had a PS3 for a good year and a half, and i've never experienced any complications with it. Mine tends to run pretty quietly, and hasn't overheated.
