How often do you drink alcohol?

Just like Keith on page 1 there is no, "I'm Scottish" option. Rarely a night out goes by without me getting absoloutly plastered and waking somewhere with no recollection of the night before.

Had a crazy night out in Boston when I was away on the ship where I woke up in an all girl's dorm beside a random girl (she wasn't much of a looker either) and I had no recollection of how I ended up there. Once back on board my fellow cadets preceded to tell me how I had removed all my clothes and proceeded to run bollock naked up and down the street next to Fenway Park.

I Just got back on Thursday night and I've been out every night since I got back and I'm pretty sure I've demolished the wages I had amassed while I was away, I'm just afraid to look.

I'm basically a 20 year old borderline alcoholic and that scares the shit out of me. Knowing how my grandfather was and how my own father is. I keep telling myself that I will stop 'binge' drinking after my 21st but who knows how that will turn out as it already has a firm grasp of my life.

I can easily have a quiet pint, as long as it is exactly that, one pint. After the 2nd pint I want more and more. I have an insatiable thirst, always have.

i used to drink that much too, but i've never got the time to anymore, or ive always gotta be up early in the damn mornin -_-

I just see drinking as a laugh, though I gotta admit it is funny get smashed then throwing up from overdose of sambuca, but I guess people who see it as ape-ish and gay or whatever are either jealous or just snobby

I don't see why people find it so hard to drink just one or two drinks and leave it at that, at Uni i usually have one or two pints because its the cheapest drink on offer, but i never have any more than that, it's not hard for me to have one or two drinks and then walk away.

I also don't see what the huge deal is about "having" to get drunk every time you go out, whenever i go out, IF i drink, i don't go out to get myself drunk, i just have a good time, i don't need alcohol to have a good time.

Coming from you I find this rationality most surprising Dont get me wrong, but didnt you use to be all about advocating heavy use of Vodka? Maybe I just remember it wrong. : )
