Russia and every other country in the world have every right in the world to remove the No Russian level from Modern Warfare 2.

However, Germany and Australia go ballistic over gore and riot security zombies and as far as I know don't censor Modern Warfare 2 at all, especially when you can do the above sentence and kill 14 year old Brazillian child soldiers.

People need to rethink censorship about videogames, it is ok to have undead authority being massacred and alien sex because it isn't as bad as a shocking conspiring plot to cause war against two nations by terrorising an airport forcing you to harm civilians.

Censorship is still needed

Lines need to be drawn, especially if they will effect underage audience

I think they should have;

For kids (Censor swearing/violence/sex/drugs etc)
For old kids/teenagers (graphic swearing/graphic violence/overuse of drugs/brief nudity only)
For old teenagers/young adults (overexcessive gore/extreme sex)
And then 21+ ANYTHING goes, but with warning labels on the content

Waste of time, effort and money, in my opinion. Why waste time censoring something for a child when they will only learn about it once they're 18?

As far as I'm concerned, it's my damn life, I'll look at whatever the fuck I want and you can't stop me. Your laws would disallow me to see over-excessive gore or extreme sex and, whilst I don't generally watch either, I like being able to make my own damn decisions.

I think what needs to be done is that there needs to be education on what's right and what's wrong in regards to certain censorship. Such as teaching children that swearing in an inflammatory manner is wrong and shouldn't be done.

Excessive violent shouldn't be censored so much as controlled and labeled. It should be up to the parents of a child to control what they watch or listen to. This reminds me of the many arguments I've had over the "violent video games cause violence" bullshit - there is a classifications board for a reason, something is labeled as Adult's Only or R18 for a reason.

People need to read the labels.
