this is coming from a class in christianity I took years ago.

But I don't believe the upside down cross has anything to do with Hell. It is the symbol for St. Peter (or maybe Paul....but I am pretty sure it was Peter). When Peter was crucified, he insisted that he be crucified upside down because he felt he was not fit to die in the manner of Jesus. This guilt came from Peter's denial of Jesus.

But again, I could be misremembering.

5 pointed star / pentagram is the wiccan counter-[art of the crucifix / the cross. The 5 pointed star represent god to wiccans. as to the 7 pointed star, it is the wiccan symbol for the antigods
