Metalcore trendies who hate punk and emo

Well, hate to break it to them: their clothing sense, lyrics and singing origin from emo's, and your music origins from Metal and Hardcore-Punk.

I rest my case.

motorhead lives on. Grunge lives on from Punk. But if your skeptical, pearl jam is no way like the clash.

Ok. Lets begin with saying you're a naive jobby. Secondly I would like to point out that my favourite bass riff of all time, comes from their best knwon song, "London's Calling." Check that riff out.

Furthermore, who the hell are Static-X? Even furthermore..... who the hell have they influenced? Yet even furthermore, Static-X's lead man looks like a tit. Clearly wants to be Shavo with his beard, his hair is just fufcktarted all over.

The Clash came along in a time when the folks were lusting for a follow up of the Sex Pistols. That came in the forms of the Clash and Generation X as well as many more. The Clash contributed greatly to the emerging punk rock scene, eventually securing a foothold in America. The Clash answer to no Static X/

Punk rock sucks :)

Static-X obviously owns you. Lead singer came up with the hairstyle before System of a Down were formed. I say Americans don't like The Clash, whoever they are. Obviously you've never heard of Static-X, they own all punk rock.

End of story. :)

Edit: Punk rock sucks even more. :)

Edit 2: Punk rock sucks. Get my drift? Also, as for Jay and his disliking of the metalcore style, you are seriously driffish. =) I don't care how people look, I like music that catches my ear not my eye, as Predator says.

Naive. Punk Rock is one of the main foundations upon which new forms of rock was formed. You're Static-X would be nothing without the likes of The Clash. I seriously have no idea why anyone can't like punk rock (when I say anyone I obviously mean most rock fans.)

I severly doubt Static-x were formed before System. The full band look in their 20's whereas System of a Down became commercially known in 1995.

Static-X are merely followers of their certain genre of music. The Clash helped forge the Punk genre.

Okay Bob, enough jokes now, Static-X was formed in 2000 :) That's when the leader got his haircut, Shavo changed his in 2004 ~ 2005-ish.

And what was the whole point of this topic again?

I didn't say Static X follwed System. I said Static-X followed a genre. The point of this topic is no longer relevant as you insulted punk rock.

http://www.systemofadownonline.com/photos/1997cmj.htm Hmmm... a bit of a beard forming there. Not quite as it is now, I'll admit

http://www.obiwan.com/ozzfest/photos/bands/systm/systm1.htmAhhh. but whats this?! 98' Ozzfest.... and whats that Shavo is sporting, why its a beard. Very distinct, wouldn't you agree? Hmmm, not quite the length that iis now, but I think it would have grown that much in a period of 2 years.

Punk rock sucks. Static-X never followed anyone. Punk rock did not make metal nor inspire it. Above all, Beethoven owns you. 8)

Mistaken yet again. Beethoven was great, yes he was!

But about the rest of the other classic/barque composers?!

Oh god, for fuck sakes.

ROCK MADE METAL
PUNK MADE POLITCALLY BASED MUSIC
ROCK MADE PUNK

What do you do when you mix Punk meanings and Metal?, I FUCKING THOUGHT SO!

If its about politics, its inspired by fucking PUNK you newbs.

Oh and by the way kids, I hate grunge, which is a offshoot of punk.
