I've seen this happen in Rant Box many times, myself including (apologies to whom I've done to).

Okay, let's just review what a rant is and what a rant shouldn't be in the rant box. I've seen people ignore the rules over and over again.

Mate, I feel that Metallica isn't hair metal. I want to show you by listening to Whiplash. In the song, you can hear no hair metal signs, like shrieking and wild wild guitar solos. So please, understand that Metallica is not hair metal.

Please keep in mind that this is not an offensive forum. This is not a forum in which you argue very idiotically, especially when you offend someone. Rants are to be discussed in serious matters. Even if your post contains absolutely no cuss words, it will still be considered offensive. Remember that this is also not about "rights", there are no rights other than the forum rules

In america if a man enters ur house without ur permission, he effectively has no rights, therefore anything is possible

This is the same, there are rules, and one rule is no "flaming"

This forum is all about everybody, and yet no one in particular, stating your opinion is one thing, but opinion statements can be said in ways not to offend people

For example

"In my opinion Jays constant reminder that he is plainly Bi-Sexual, is overused and beggining to become non-humourous and plain boring"

This could offend, however, I know that this is my opinion and my opinion only, majority or minority, it doesnt matter, what matters is that i have to swallow my pride and if other people say im wrong, then i have to step into their shoes and try to see it from their point of view

I don't like the theme glam metal simply because it represents too much of a hard rocker hair style, like partying with chicks and drinking too much beer and meth, I just think it's wrong.
