rofl alex, that was funny, i laughed so much. i knew you gonna believe me when you saw my fast fire hahaha.

ok, now let me tell you, why this happened:

i played with my laptop, on where by win xp defaults, the cpu frequency is reduced if theres no load. when dx starts up, it reads lower frequency than its normally and when you come to the game, everything goes much faster - SP game is like playing on gamespeed 3. but in MP is a bit different. MP doesnt allow me to move fast, so my game is laggy, and others see me lag aswell. the trick is, that fast fire, fast reaload, everything else go faster, except movement. that was all the trick of my "cheating".

looks like this would work on your CRD mod aswell. :lol:

As far as I know "[A] good old days" has only DXMTL installed as a protection and nothing else.

ive tested this on CRD; fastfire works, CRD doesnt kick me out

It's not supposed to kick you out. And CRDV2 doesn't has any weapon protection... V3 does... V3 has a lot more..

well, it didnt kick me out. and i doubt any coding you do will kick me out. it somekind of a trick that bypass your protection.

i can show you, that it trully works on your CRD.

minimtl was never ment to carry anticheating tool, but it was implemented only bcos of you alex, to prevent your shit doing on gm and my servers.

minimtl was created to add extra functionality to dx, which lacks of them completely. in late versions, mm will change whole joining system, adding new gametypes making accessibility looking like in other games.

btw: banning lionheart + using mm210 currently makes server protected against all dx cheaters. plus, it adds some bugfixes, and a nice scoreboard, which is ideed very useful.

you dont realize, what dxmp needs more. cheaters are in every online game, you cant avoid them. youve not been in other ocmmunities, so you have no idea. ive been in cod scene, professionally, playing for top euro clan. even there were cheaters, not only on public servers, but also on wars using wallhack. it wasnt easy to detect them, but a real nightmare. detecting cheaters in dxmp is a real fucking easy work. even the biggest newb can guess whos the cheater.

you think that dx is dying bcos of cheaters? then you are so fucking wrong. do i have to say again? what dx needs is a whole new netcode, better UI, more functionalities. lets take joining system as an example. it sux @ dx. most newbs even dont know how to switch side. then theres no spectating mode? how many online games dont support spectating? ive seen only dxmp without this function. you see alex, something else is needed to the scene, anticheating tool is on 7th place, not on the first, as you think.

As if it helps DX? It only helps the current players.

If you're interested, and I know you're not, but I don't give a fsck, I made a specating mod, I already did a lot of things, I just didn't add them.
And another thing DejaVu, you say anticheating is on the 7th place? Why is DXMTL152b1 so popular then

personally, the only good function from mtl152b1 is great lag reduction, new movement code and some other bug fixes.

you still dont get it. important is, that there are no cheaters on wars. and since, dx has demorec function, from that point, any major cheating is noticable easily. and since clanwars aint corrupted by cheaters, everyone can breath easily.

btw, you are wrong about new players. how many of them have u trully bring in dxmp? none! i did, and tried many. for many of them, i failed - reasons are: bad knowledge (cos the game has no system for new players), lag, ping, bad UI,... not a single one met a cheater. they didnt stop or didnt like the game bcos of lionheart lol. there were many other things.

(its funny when they ask me, how can i spectate you, to see how u play. but sadly, ive to say: you cant!).

DX Just needs an easier interface, I know for sure If I didnt get DX on my 8th birthday as a "holder present" I damn sure wouldn't have bought it now.

However - With mods like the "Hi-Res one(Name escapes me atm)" And the new bugfixes, all we need is a better GUI and it'll be a whole new ball game.

Exactly! and thats whats mms primary objective - to make better user friendly interface.

alex, i have an aimbot with autofire that bypass your anticheating tool. autofire works, aimbot would need some accomodations. this hax was passed to me from dx player, who also got it from other dx players. just so u know, you are farting in wrong direction with this mod. and as i said you b4, your mod will never be 100% secure.
