Break the feet of daughters (Year old, maybe less), and then wrapping them in, and repeating this hundreds of times.

Foot binding still takes place in China.
Chinese men find toes unattractive, and small feet attractive, so a lot of women still file their toes away over the years and bind them in tons of bandages to make themselves more attractive.
