Ey ey, wtf is this.
Stevie is right, Irwin DID tempt death LOADS.

Everyone is acting default sympathy (that when someone dies) because of this, and abusing it.
  • He was great for entertainment.
  • He was very good at doing what he did. (Saving animals and etc)

But despite this, he fooled around sometimes, he was putting his life on the line ALOT of times doing what he did...which is a stupid thing to do, and he of course WAS repared to die because of this.
He is a moron and an idiot for what he was trying to do in the ways he did, but a respected and great idiot

His death, it was BOUND to happen one day if luck didnt stop shining, and that of course faded out.

And whoever splitted this, get off my moderator team.

And just to add to the evilness:

What you fail to realize is, he risked his life and did moronic stuff for the sake of your entertainment. The least you could do is give him some gratitude

Even if he did risk his life all the time, that does NOT mean you can joke about it. Sure maybe it was bound to happen, a lot of people weren't too surprised when it did in fact. Enjoy your reserved place in hell...

*edit*

The image isn't proper either:

That's the way it's suppose to go....and no, I didn't make that.

You don't work with the worlds most dangerous animals and not expect to get caught out.

Yeah he was great for tourism, the yanks couldn't get enough of him.

Yeah, we was a nice enough bloke, he employs 500 local people at his zoo.

However, he has always hammed it up for the camera in situations where he shouldn't. Because of this, his wife no longer has a husband, and his kids don't have a Dad. At 44, he should have realised he is not as fast as he was 20 years ago. He also ignored rule number one about Stingrays.

For those reasons, he was a moron.

That and Australia has been spamming his death all over the airways, you simply can't move in the media environment without hearing about Steve Irwin's Death.

Lol @ mosh the emo.

I agree besides I don't get why do you guys claim that he was a moron? Because he is putting his life in risk for ours entertainment? It was his job which he most likely enjoyed to do and in my opinion it's same to, for example, firemen, who rescue people from burning houses. He did what he could do the best. Whether his job was stupid or not, it's your subjective opinion which of course has a right to exist, but it isn't an axiom... Yes, in case with firemen it's more evident that the risk is justificated.

He ignored safety rules while filming a movie about ocean's deadliest creatures. And he died, making a second aussie to die through the attack by a such fish. There is small line between courage and stupidity and he just crossed it by diving with dangerous animals in an environment quite different to dry land with snakes and alike thinking his experience will be major aid to him.

That said, I believe Ive seen few of his shows time back and obviously he loved what he did and spent those 44 years enjoying himself. Its sad that he left behind a young family. RIP.

Well he did hang his baby with one arm and a dead chicken for a aligator / crocodile with the other.

Firemen = save human lifes, using safe methods most of the time in doing so
Steve Irwin = great human being who saved plenty of animal lifes, idiot for doing half the stuff without using safer methods because he wants to get that little closer just to show people about animals.

Who moved this topic again?

A fireman doesn't place his own life at risk to look better on camera. Steve Irwin did. He has always done stupid things 'for the sake of the camera'. More so when he 'made it'.

Even if you are Steve Irwin, you should still obey basic diving rules.

I splitted and locked it first time and after you reply unlocked and moved to rant box.

I agree that trick with child was excess.

But what about safer methods. If they were safer I think he would not have become such a popular person and he would certainly be alive.

Which leaves it at this:

Hes an idiot for what he did and was also a lucky bastard plus a star for doing highly dangerous stuff with minimal help or; no help at all.
I don't care if hes famous for it, hes still in the wrong and I won't let blind sympathy show.

Its like pitying that footballer who died because he was a footballer, not because he was a stupid drunk.

He mightve been an idiot when it came to safety but does that mean we cant pitty the death of an exceptional entertainer? To my surprise even my uncle mentioned his death today, mentioned it as something quite sad.

Realizing that will solve what? The guy is dead, killed by a scared fish. Imho he couldve spent those 44 years beating a bomb with a hammer and we'd still consider him a loss. Any death is a tragedy for someone and the death of a simple yet fun guy is a tragedy for everybody more or less.
