49,000 Black/ethnic minorities have been killed over the past 5-10 years out of racial attacks.
77,000 White people have been killed over the past 5-10 years due to racial attacks.
Then we get onto simple wounding, with around 4,000 black/ethnic persons being wounded in the last 5-10 years but with 20,000 white people being wounded in the same period of time.
This is just in Britain, people should not be allowed to think 'Oh a black man's been attacked' when they hear of a racial attack.
It's not on. I'm not a racist, but its true that white people are at much more of a risk these days from racial attacks, with gangs and thugs carrying all sorts of weapons.
I'm sure some yankee is gonna hit me with some US figures to try and outdo my numbering, but it's not the size of the figures I'm getting at, it's the fact that white people are more at risk in Britain. That's why there is such massive prejudice and I see where JOHN is coming from in the conversation, especially as he, himself, is probably a baseball cap wearing football hooligan. Many people feel the same way.
Im not especially trying to counter your statement, since i agree with the majority of it
But maybe take into consideration that even though your figures are accurate, when you put them with the ratio of white to black/ethnic people living in britain, i would say at a guess it has to be at least 4 white to 1 ethnic
Then when you look at the figures you see that in that circumstance the ratio becomes more focused on larger amounts of ethnic deaths and wounds, compared to whites
Now i agree. I know why people have the viewpoint, but respecting and understanding someone elses views does not necessarily mean i have to agree with them. The main problem is segregation and the concept of racism in the first place.
We as living, breathing human beings are no different to any other humans, genetically, theoretically and religiously (taking into accounts all major factors). So why is there a problem in the first place?
The problem is that creatures have a natural tendency to form "group" status's.
Its why some things make no real logical sense.
Bristol Rovers vs Bristol City is one of the most violent Derby's in the UK
But you stick two supporters together at an England game and they are good buddys
We all go around saying "America sucks wang" and yet when some country goes up in conflict, we seem to hop on the Western World band wagon and join the war effort.
Ok its a terrible film, but did you ever see any arab turn round to the Americans in Independance Day and say "fuck you and your western world ways, we will fight these aliens ourselves"
We have a bad tendency to fear things we dont understand, we huddle in our groups as a mediocre form of protection against those things we dont get.
The point is to break away from that method of thinking, or your just joining what i refer to as "Mob culture" and becoming part of the blur and not anyone special. Its not that you need to think differently to other people. Hell the idea of being "different" is to be like a Goth, Emo, Wigger etc. Your labeled and youve just joined a different collective. The point is to think beyond what other people think, ask why we think these things, and make up your own mind before other people make it up for you.
