By the way. what do you all think of Norton anti... etc stuff?
-Downloading now.
Give it time, someone will hax it to make it work on XP soom. I'm sure.~Åÿleth~ wrote:On another note, Halo2 Requires Vista :S fscking Microsh*t.

2. Anyone who uses Norton deserves to have their computer fucked up.
3. Vista sucks grandma balls. I'd rather use fucking XP than Vista. Considering SOME XP software isn't compatible with Vista as you found out.
4. Vista sucks balls. Oh wait, already said that. WELL IT SUCKS BALLS 2X OVER BIATCHES!!!
~[A]Kaiden~ wrote:Yeah, Norton is still used hugely by basic computer users, as it often comes with the computer pre-installed. My one tried to me clever and stopped me trying to un-install it by claiming files were missing lol. I just downloaded their removal tool though.
AVG- Had it for a while, but the trial ran out.

~[A]Kaiden~ wrote:Ok, I just spent the last 2 hours restoring my laptop's hard-drive to a previous time.
I bought the laptop yesterday (as it's 1:25). But I had no troubles with it for a few hours. All of my friends say Window's Vista is crap and I should just use XP, but I like Vista.. or did.
Anyway, I was installing an anti-virus programm, McAffee 2006. After 10 minutes I get the wonderful error;
**********
This Programm Is Not Compatible With Windows Vista.
**********
Woo? Fair enough.. But then!
**********
Error: #55932 Invalid file/missing file.

Hmm.. Ok. Ah, screens died.. right.. "Windows is restarting" eh...ok.
*Restarts*
Screen's still blank after you login..
Then I spent 2 hours trying to restore it, because it wasn't recognizing either of the 2 CD's I had. It did eventually though, hence how I am on my laptop now.
Although there are probably topics like this, has anyone else had problems like this with Vista? Not being able to install basic programms because they are "INCOMPATIBLE" then getting corrupted files?
Discuss pleases!
I've had Vista for 3 months now and I've never experienced any problems of any nature. Everything runs smoothly and efficiently. In fact, it's most likely much more secure than XP. the only thing wrong with it: RAM usage, I just feel like it is being used in excess. Right now I have 2 GB RAM running at 667 MHz bus speed and the meter says that, on average, 33% of it is being used in current operations.XII//:Protocol wrote:~[A]Kaiden~ wrote:Most likely half of those don't work with Vista.
HAHAHA, you bought Vista.
