BioShock Mod

Been drawing this up for quite a while.

It'll come with two maps which will be Olympus Heights, and Fort Frolic.

If another mapper who has played the game extensively, and has it to refer to for source material is willing to make the other two maps I wanted - The Atrium and Neptune's Bounty, that would be great.

3 Plasmids will replace the grenade slots, which will be Electric Bolt, Incinerate, and Winter Blast. Bio Energy will become Eve (Duh).

The Trusty Wrench will be here too.

4 Guns will be included, with all their types of ammo intact, and these are the Pistol, the Machine Gun, the 00 Buck, and the Crossbow. The guns get upgraded at the PttP station in each level, which re-activates after every 2.5 minutes.

Once a 10 kill streak has been achieved, the player becomes the Big Daddy for 3 minutes. It's decided automatically at random whether the player becomes a Bouncer or a Rosie. If you become the Bouncer you get the Drill, and the Screech. If you become a Rosie, you'll obtain the Bolt Gun, and proximity mines. The Boltgun and Drill are 1hit kills. They recieve armour but no actual health benefits, as to make them killable, and keep the recipient on their toes.

If I have to do all this alone, it'll be done by August. Doing the hardest portion first, which are the maps.

If you're going to volunteer for mapping, I reiterate, you MUST have BioShock for source material on hand, not at a friends house. Ideally you'll have the PC version to take screenshots.

Modellers and coders however can get away with looking at screenshots and videos.

It's a bit ambitious....but hey, what do I know? Excellent concept however.

Go ahead and be Peter Molyneaux.

I thought it was rather simple to be honest.

The hardest part was the mapping, and then the Big Daddy model. (I think I'll use a reskinned commando or something until I can find someone.)

Are you going to code a drill for them? Or keep them as Rosies?
