Are there still tutorials online so I can learn to mod?

Hello everybody. Deus Ex is my favorite game ever and I've been enjoying various mods over the years. I've started to think that it would be very rewarding for me to play around with modding for Deus Ex single player in my spare time. Are there still good modding tutorials online? Are there any basic suggestions that anyone has to offer?

Tack talks about mapping....... Not modding. slight difference depending on what he means by "mod."

Well, my long term goal was both to make maps, and also do some minor modifications, like change the appearance of some of the weapons and the associated strings and parameters, or make NPCs who look different than they do in regular DX.
