newbie mapping question - player character immediately dies! [SOLVED]

Yesterday evening I started out with my first mapping ever following some of the basic tutorials on the web. However, after a certain point, whenever I ran the game the first thing that would happen is the player character would drop dead.

I'm sure that this is a very basic newbie issue but I haven't been able as of yet to figure out the problem. I would be very grateful if someone might be able to tell me what the issue causing this is.

Generally a simple problem yes, but I expect every map has made this mistakes atleast once!

While in your map ->> Press F8 ->> Press "Rebuild Geometry" ->> Test Map.

Holy crap, I'll bet that's it. I'd forgotten to rebuild the geometry! Thanks!
