Looking for Music Tutorial from DXMS Forums by DankeMedic,
anyone know where to find it ?
Or got it stored somewhere :)

To paraphrase it:

Get something like ModPlug.
Get an MP3.
Convert MP3 to WAV using some software of your choice.
Make new song in Modplug.
Add new WAV of the MP3 as a sample.
Add that wav onto the track.
Done..?


( In all honesty, I can't remember it much either. :( )

I read this recently, but I too can't remember where I got it from.

Definitely wasn't DXMS though.

I'll have a looksie.

BTW, I make my own compilations for maps, so if anyone ever wants any music done, just tell me what sort of background music ya want, and I can cook something up.

I remember emailing the TNM people about music and they sent me something useful for different file formats. Wish i could remember which it was

It would work, but noone would be able to join the server as it would require a .dll they don't have.

If transfering .dlls was possible, server hosters could easily spread viruses and spyware.

No, it can't be added. ServerPackages... dll isn't a Unreal package.
