We're still aiming for that date, but it's basically all out of our hands, at this point. We're waiting on three actors. Everything else is ready, we just need them to turn in their stuff and then we're good to release. We think that two of them should turn their stuff in to us in the next few days, the other one is a complete wild card. I've been nagging them, but you have to strike a balance between reminding them and annoying them so much that they'll decide not to record at all.

Ahh, I see. I had the exact same problem with a voice actor from my last film. He ended up delaying it 4 months D:

Well, it won't delay it THAT long. We have other voice actors we can call on, so if these guys take too long we'll grab someone else. Although one of the guys has already recorded about 300 lines and just needs 30 or so re-records, so it'd be a shame to waste 'em.

Must have been a typo

We actually just received a bunch of acting today, so we are now just waiting on re-records from two actors. One of them is also our coder, so that's not a problem. The other guy has been extremely flaky in getting us his stuff, so we all have our fingers crossed.

Not Monday over here!

The music for the trailer was just submitted by the musician. It should be merged with the video tomorrow and ready to go. We were planing on launching it with the new website, but there's still a few bits and bobs to go for the site. I really want this trailer up, though, so we might just throw it over on Moddb until the website is ready.

Hehe, well, it will probably be closer to Thursday/Friday (of next week), so we're safe! The trailer and website are looking good to be up on Friday of this week.

The new website is complete! The name server changes haven't fully propagated yet so it may not show up for everyone until tomorrow, but you can still view the launch trailer over on Moddb.com: http://www.moddb.com/mods/the-nameless- ... ch-trailer

Enjoy!

For those that haven't seen it yet, we've released the game manual to keep everyone busy until Sunday :-)

That's it, throw us the bone.

It does look absolutely professional; no two-bit look at all. I would expect this from a full retail!

Thanks! A lot of work went into that manual :)

In other news:

The Nameless Mod Collectors Edition DVD is now available!

I'd like to stress that we're not doing this in order to coerce people into ordering the DVD, we make no money off of it (the modest $5-10 price tag simply covers the cost of printing and shipping the disc) so we are equally happy if you wait until Sunday and download the mod from our website.

However, our distributor Kunaki.com take a few days for delivery, and you probably won't be getting anything over the weekend, so we thought we'd give you a little head start in ordering so you won't have to wait too long after our official release date to get the disc.

You may order The Nameless Mod here:
http://kunaki.com/sales.asp?PID=PX001NUH34

In addition to the game itself, the DVD contains a collection of bonus material we've scraped together from 7 years of developing the mod. Everything on the disc will be made available for download on Sunday, however, including the cover art for the DVD case and the disc label. We'll also be seeding a torrent with the .iso and cover art, so please don't feel pressured into purchasing this DVD - it's simply for your convenience or if you are a bit of a collector.

For more information, please consult our FAQ:
http://thenamelessmod.com/faq/

We hope you'll be happy with our product :)

The downloadable DVD will be a burnable/mountable .iso file, right? Glad to see you guys have finally managed to pull it out with your mod. Seven years in development... fucking respect :)

Trestkon, if you need an extra mirror for the mod download, I can upload it to http://clanb.deus-ex.net/download once you release it.

Oh man that manual looks fucken tasty. I'd buy the DVD if you could tell me how much it'll cost to get it shipped to New Zealand lol.

On another note 900mb download!? That's bigger than the fucken game it's a mod for LOL.
