Half Life is based on its own modification of Quake engine as far as i remember and it has nothing to do with Unreal engine.

klop ur so stupid halflife 1 was based on hammer and halflife 2 was source and the unreal engine is totally diferent from those btw thye should make it on the source engine :)

¬_¬ I know a comp expert and i hae looked it up on the internet, the unreal engine is part of the Half-Life collection!!! Or it was merged into other engines to make half-life.

You know most of us will probly still be around by 2052 so in time we will
see if Deus Ex turns out to be true.....wouldnt it be cool to be saved from
old age with the help of Nanotech implants?

It must be, also the engine seems to be created by Jim from #dxediting. Notice one screenshot with Trestkon? heh another dxer. It would be really cool to make an dxmp game out of that engine. I would love to map for it. :D

I know little about the engine is that it was made by a guy in the DX community and that the guys of OTP plan to use it once they are finished TNM

I believe the engine is the work of a guy called Jim. Possibly Carone has been doing some mapping for him?

I have tryed the demo. It's quite nice, but lags (fps = 25).
werkzerg...or whatever it is called is more successful.
