They are still doing work on it though and the improvement from the orginal is largely significant.

I agree, but, it is still a huge improvement to that of the orginal and I am sure that what they have posted will be improved, the public are giving them criticism all the time and that will help them to improve it.

At least its something and I am sure this isn't the end result, I think this is their first attempt of doing JC and I doubht it will be the end product.
I reckon they will put the finishing touches soon enough and it will show a mass improvement

LOL it is true but I wouldnt say theres more detail because he just has a few more extra polys so hes abit rounder and it looks like hes got a bit of round front I wonder about the back aswell.

Gunther from HDTP looks closer to original, than in case with JC.

I have read it's not textured, just will a new texture make a model looking closer to original if it's not close at all at the moment?

He looks more ugly than he ever has before, and not as skinny either.

I don't see the WOW factor in remodelling characters, it is just a basic poly increase & actual fingers.

If it pisses you off so much, if you ever do download and install the mod - there will be an option to switch on and off what HDTP elements you want to see in game. So if you don't like characters - dont have them - switch them off.

I'm a modeller myself, and models do anything but piss me off.
