Silent Hill Map / Mod

* 1 Coder, other than myself.
* 2 Mappers, skill level: Medium (Other than myself, because i need to get back to grips with UED.)
* A guy who can import music, sounds and textures.
* And a guy who can make relatively good textures.
* A modler.

Complete:
--------------------------
Map: 0%
Coding: 0.2%
Models: 0%
Sounds And Textures
*Music: 100%
**Sounds: 100%
*Textures: 0.5%



The mod/map will feature many aspects of the original game.

Some of the features:
*You WILL see Dark Alessa many times running around the map in the distance.
*Every 15 minutes for 5 minutes an air raid siren will come on and it will start to rain and turn dark. Unleashing HELL!
*You will be able to explore everywhere in the following buildings:
**Midwich Elementary School.
**Silent Hill Hospital.
**The Mines.
**The Cafe.
**Orthodoxic Church.
**Silent Hill Hotel.
*You will see several of the "condemed" around the map.
*Over 30 diffrent mp type monsters.
AND MANY MORE.


True, this mod will require alot of work, but in my opinion it would be worth it, no?

Well, i dunno, lol....


the music / sounds are ".MP3" and the images are ".JPG"/".BMP". I don't know how to import them into Deus Ex, sadly :( :P

Music: Needs converting into .wav, then into .it Tracker Files.
Sounds: Need converting into .wav.
Textures: .bmp is fine, and has a regular file size, respective to its dimensions. .jpg will need to be made into .bmp.

lol, i wasnt thinking of the tyrant in RE2, he looks too much like a human.
i was thinking of the tyrant in the first one, with the giant claws and the exposed heart.

True, resident evil would make a great Deus Ex mod, but, Silent Hill is alot easier to implement into Deus Ex, no?

it would be a hard SP mod i think, but it would be fun if someone made the mansion as a map or something. certain parts of the mansion would summon zombies and stuff, and as you get farther in killing, harder monsters will come.

just an idea..

YAY my UED is allowing me to right click again, so i'll be able to map aswell. All i need is....

It's not an sp mod. It's an mp mod. So there is no real story line. Just basic things which happened in Silent Hill.

Honestly? Not worth it.

Firstly in my eyes this mod is doomed to fail... I'm not just saying it because you're the project leader but, seeing as you didn't really do a project before, this is a little bit too high for you anyways.

And secondly, Deus Ex is in a fucked up state right now, releasing an MP mod of this size wont be played by more then 10 people.

Not saying it's not a good idea, or that you shouldn't try it, but you shouldn't expect to much from it.
