im beggining to implement the new system of shop security and im having a reshuffle in the shop - Custom weapons are on the wall by the window and there is a small cabinet for lams and gas grenades. The shopkeeper will have control over a "moving wireframe" from inside the shop. You go in, press the button and no one goes in anymore!

Post more suggestions for shop area here

I think he ment he has no ideas :wink:

What kind of protection are you using? Do you have disarm triggers in place? Maybe you could keep a few turrets controlled by one computer in store... not even augs will last long...
Also if you use the disarm trigger no one will bring weps in... maybe a one way door out? (Since it removes all weapons but I'm pretty sure items are safe)

I am extremely close to having a PUBLIC RELEASE of Weaponsmarket. I have ironed out all bugs, Given the shop a tidy, implemented new shop security system, made it so that things can only go one way through the shop window ( no one can jump in! ), made a bar and added direction signs for the shop.

Basically its done - just waiting for FLKeypad2 :(

If you can make any more suggestions NOW then that would be great

DB's is only a very early official beta

Besides on my server once i have hosted them and i am ready to bring out the next one ( w/bug fixes) it gets moved outside the map folder

when i am able to get my hands on FLKeypad2.

If i will never get my hands on it then i will scrap the idea of a keypad room.

If you have any more suggestions for the map please tell me so i can add them. This morning i added a bar and gave the shop another spring clean!

the "gravity drop" has been removed - ppl kept fallling through it when it was closed ( :shock: ). If the shopkeeper is been attacked he just closes the shop window - simple!

The surveilence room has 2 security panels linked to camears around the map. Also it has a one way invisible wall so you can spy on ppl without them seeing you or using camears - there is a teleporter that teleports you (suprise, surprise) to another viewing room that overlooks the killing zone. Also in this room there is weapons and music changer buttons.

Any other questions?

Yes, please set a username / password for the security computer for the camera's, so alpha is able to keep spying on them.
