[REQUEST] Hive

We've always had maps that are based on cities, technology and ruins.
I think it's about time Deus Ex got a ripoff of Aliens. An alien hive.

Every shooting game has a ripoff of the movie, Contra, DooM, Half Life, Halo, System Shock 2 and Crysis, anything with a spaceship, hive or parasite alien IS inspired by what we saw in the second of the Alien movie series.

I want this to be a map, basically be set in caverns of flesh and an alien feel, the spawn rooms to be spaceships crashed landed into this heap of inhuman mess. I have made the blueprints for ideas.

Organic material, as opposed to 'metal' is incredibly hard to achieve, nigh on impossible with the restrictions of textures etc.

However, if someone could think of a way to achieve it, I would be wholly impressed.

Animated flesh pulsing? Also dark, very dark.

Could you give a bit bigger screenshots? And what kind of coding would it require?

Have a video:

Anything from 1 min 30 seconds. I think this would be very easy in UED for someone with experience. Not sure about any coding needed however.

http://youtube.com/watch?v=mb9fT8A-5KM I want it more like this colour though.

I also want the containers for weapons and stuff in the alien caverns to be pretty much the Facehugger eggs from aliens. http://youtube.com/watch?v=eoR9cJBkk7A like that, might be too hard to do with movers though.

Just been looking through System Shock 2 again, Unreal Editor will have no trouble with it at all.

Hi
Some textures have specific sounds when you run across them, surely a squishy sound for the fleshy looking texture shouldnt be too hard to achieve.

But then Ive never scripted anything except batch files for DOS.

That's something I overlooked, but I can also easily find these sounds also.

Thanks! :D
