A map i really want

I think a map that is a long, dark, twisted pipe system with serveral little man-eating monsters would be kinda cool. really creepy too. You ever played Metroid Prime? Well if you have i want it like the first area, but darker and only a few flickering lights. Kinda like the alien movies. Greasels and karkians would work, but if you could make some lighning fast monster of your own that would work. I'll take anyting as close as you can get!

Sure Mate :D

I will talk to Daedalus about this, i reckon with a bit of modification we can make this map into a FunLine map. But while your waiting for my reply keep us posted on some new ideas that you must have, i will do my best to work on them.

Here is another, a swampy dense jungle with karkians and a few villages and army bases. Or perhaps a really big forest with destroyable trees, could also put the monster from my last request and make it at night!

BTW: Without me making another topic here is one:

Have you ever played RESIDENT EVIL 2?...If you can make a DX MAP which looks like the RPD STATION this could hit...also make a Pawn that is humanish attacks like the karkian but with its bite...make 3 different textures of it...call it zombie1 ,"2, "3 etc...

Forget the fire...also make the spawnrooms where the store cases are on RE2.

Brakable trees heheh, better if you we will re-cast DXMP engine, because such map (as you've descriped it) will lag as hell.

I added you to the |ALPHA| mappers and Funline teams so i want you to make a map, not a n00bish one with weapons everywhere and stuff, it must have locked cabinets, doors, protected spawnrooms, music, triggers, and everything fun thgat you can think of, if u need ideas or help then come see me and ill be glad to help.

it MUST be detailed, dont put dead chickens on the roof like AlexDenton did and make sure you put a lot of detail in, if you need help with anything like prefabs for rooms, movers and shit like that just ask, i added u to my msn.

as for indoor/outdoor, its all your choice, dont put to many keypads in and if you do ask me for a code, we have a universal code here at |ALPHA| that i apply to Jazz's maps and all maps we make so yea.....

Just wondering if it was possible to make mounted gun? Could you set the movement speed while holding the weaon to zero? BTW by mounted gun I mean one you can aim.

A: Yes if you make a map it will be posted on our site and it will most likely be hostred on our server.

B: I believe you are talking about a mounted gun that you walk up to and right click to operate and right click to walk away from is this correct? if so it would be quite difficault to do, it would involde makinf a new model that is movable on an axis and it would involve making new textures, if you are willing to do the moddeling, skinning and animating then sure i will make it for you :)

LOL! easy man easy!, a begginer could do it, all you have to do is select all light actos then make them brighter and if nesceserry put new lights in in some places.

Yeah, nice idea and easy to realise. BTW i can put new kewl sky effects from 2027 mod, not daytime, but morning. Daytime in DX looks badly (without shadows and etc) bcos there're problems with engine (not my idea, it is idea of professional unreal'ers).

We can make modified Bunker, i will fix all it's bugs and add few new elements, add a new skybox. I think this will be nice work.

how about, the area51 level with 2 watch tower things(the normal one stays in place and another oppposite side) take the bunker off and put a large cabin type building in the centre with an underground passage tht splits off into 2 ways(to each tower but there will be an auto turret at the entrance) the spawn areas can be abandoned toilets or sumthing underground... fell free to add to this suggestion if u like the idea
