Got a cool idea, or an idea that just helps in general.
Post it here and perhaps it will be made by me

I am short on idea's since I have released quite some stuff, so any idea is welcome.
If you post one though, make a good & clear post, with good English. I expect Capitals on the start of each sentence, dots, commas, and all other things, you know what I mean

And of course, explain EXACTLY what you mean.

I was wondering when you would run out of ideas. I have got a good idea for a mutator. :?:

On my server, my admin keep summoning Super Nova's and laging the server with big vans. How about a mutator that stops Admin from summoning certain Actors, unless they have been allowed to. simply, add the admins IP to a list, then have a part where you enter the items that the said admin can not summon. Does this sound like a good idea?

Ok, How about some form of equiptable augs? I think AlrightyGame had something similar but I'm not sure. As that mod lagged quite-some, it's not used at all to my current knowledge on any running servers. Something along the lines of either a bot that installs certain augs at request (If it was for RPG, then reduct credits etc) Or just pick up augs and equip them? I realise this isn't exactly ideal with all the server-crashing going on, but perhaps sometime in the future if it ever stops.

Code: Select all: ConsoleCommand("set ini:Core.System.PurgeCacheDays 0");

Not sure, but I think that'd be how you do it.

Just slap that onto ModifyPlayer, with a Superclass call before it, and you should be in business. (You may wish for it to do more though, as this is just a tad bit pointless on it's own.)

That's cool. But only changes it on the server host. Not the client.

Yes, changing clients user.ini values are kinda hard. I managed to do that only once with my Switcher mutator, but there was a premade function for that.

[OffTopic] Play DeusEx, press t (Or talky button), delete say, type preferences. Assuming you have MTL, go to DXMTL (Double click it, its one of the *14* Options displayed in my case. You should have 11 ish. Anyway, From DXMTL, click Advanced settings 1, and you should see ballowsummon and ballowsummon. These should both be true by default. Change them both to false and summoning is disabled in your sever.[/OffTopic]

Just take away his admin rights and find a better admin. He is obviously not admin material.

Yeah, i decided to get rid of all my admins and just keep two trusted ones once my server is back up. Changed admin password.

And when the ones i dont like try to adminlogin, they get kicked.
