Only allows one texture

Well, when I build one say stairs, it does not let me build anything else that has a texture on it, I selected 1 and tried it with the other ones, and it does not work, it just becomes transparent.

Ok, here, I selected the texture, and did Ctrl+S to build it.

Subtract a large cube for a room first, then add the stairs into that room you've made.
