The texture has to be in pcx / 8 bit color format.

If you're using Ms Paint, try this: first save as .gif, then re-open .gif and save as .pcx.

yeah, I forgot :S

Do you have any other image editors like ACDSee?

Brother Bear wrote:unreal ed... is hard to understand >_>

UnrealEd, especially Unreal Ed 2 or 3, has a nice understandable interface compared with other programs.

You can create custom shapes either by:
vertex editing
2D shape editor

Brother Bear wrote:and also re-view the walls and stuff after u make a new object o.o

use "Build Geometry"

I don't have Yahoo messenger.

If you need a simple image editor, try GIMP — it's free.

Download:
http://downloads.sourceforge.net/gimp-w ... -setup.exe
then install it, then download this:
http://downloads.sourceforge.net/gimp-w ... -setup.exe

When you're done with installation, open .gif and finally save it as .pcx :)

Ask your "Bro" if you can install it. =D

Yeah, PhotoShop works the best..

File>Save For Web > Save > Open File > Open Saved web file > Save as .pxc or something. =D Photoshop is a good program, if you can get it..

and else download a trial version and crack it wich is as easy as downloading a torrent file
yet finding a crack for it is dangerous since most crack serial sites are full of beautifulll spyware and trojans and worms and what ever source of evil you can think off

Yes, this has happened to me, but i fixed it. All you have to do is make the picture:

- 256 Colors (8Bit)
- Make it in sizes by 2, such as: 1,2,4,8,16,32,64,128,256,512,1024.

You can make the image something like:

Height: 256
Width: 128

And vice versa.

Once you've done that import it and it should work, if it doesnt that means you did not do it correctly. Use something like GIMP, its a FREE image editor. Or if you have any other image editors on your computer.

Remember,

to save your texture AFTER you have imported by clicking on save button and you can called it what ever you want, such as:

MyTextures

See? That easy!
