  1. Right click anywhere on your overhead grid, and select Grid > 8 Units. Then you can move the mover to where you want it. As for setting the pivot, right click on the exact spot that you want the pivot, and select Pivot > Place Pivot Snapped Here.
  2. Click on the ladder in the overhead view, hold CTRL and use the left mouse button to move it around. If you need a smaller gird size, repeat as used with the mover.

Then instead of moving the ladder, just move the room instead; press F8 and click 'rebuild' when you're done.

meh ive already remade it... BUT theres a new problem.. with a window... can u help?

its a window on the side of a water zone, when u look thru the top of the water it looks fine, but when u get in the water u cant see into the next room but u can see under the map (take a look at picsa)

    EDIT:

for all u people on dial up.. NO MOANING!!! GET BROADBAND!!! 400KB/s FTW :)

    EDIT 2:

u can see thru the window from the oher side, but not in the water.. just above it...

Also when i create a door, i make in my workshop, when i do to intersect it, i tried once without adding the light source, then with adding it. and STILL this happens (see pic)

EDIT: the door STARTS in the wall... is that the problem?

It's a little bit annoying to wait till all these .bmps load, it takes my cache and slows down Firefox. You should learn about a magic format called .JPG.

it seems to be a BSP error

I can't say why is that only by your screenshots, maybe if you attach the map itself I'll try.

He means that his mover isn't lit up like the rest of the room.

Brother, try intersecting the brush when its actually in the room that you want the mover.

lol remove two non-solid cubes and create a sheet (sheet tool, use it) above it, to cover the hole

also remove portal, 2side and transparency flags
