Texture issue (where was black becomes green!)

Postby DxPlayer » Sun Jan 16, 11 6:41 pm

Hello again!
I'm modifying some Deus Ex original skins, such as HKMilitary, and inside the editor (GIMP) everything looks fine, so I set color index to 256 colors and save as .pcx. However when I run Deus Ex and look at the new skinned characters, some parts of them where it is suppose to be dark and black it's colored with a ugly dark green.

How can I fix that?

Thanks!

Upload both the old and new textures, I'll check.

Remember that the 256 color spectrum doesn't have a wide array of colors.

Any color that is "Dark" per say, will shift to the 256 color closest to it (in this case, it could possibly be your dark green).

What I find weird is that black (without a doubt) is included with that spectrum, another thing is that you have already set your pallet to 256 colors :/
Psychokiller, spelled incorrectly.

Another weird thing is that the dark green only appers in game! Inside image viewers it looks just fine!
