Just name the each frame/file like tis;
<FILENAME>_a<FRAMENUMBER>
e.g
FireFX_a00.bmp
FireFX_a01.bmp
FireFX_a02.bmp
FireFX_a03.bmp
FireFX_a04.bmp
FireFX_a05.bmp
then import them into the new UTX file with the same names, unreal ed will automatically detect them..to adjust stuff just right click the a00 frame and change stuff from its properties (right click texture file on editor and properties)
this also works if you import them in an unreal package (not texture), but i doubt that you can change play-rate and stuff liek dat
