Player Reflections

Postby Gohan » Mon Nov 22, 04 2:33 am

I made a wall a mirror, and (of course) it reflects the player. However, the reflection ruins what im trying to do and I need to turn it off. Is it even possible to turn off player reflections :?:

Just Don't make a mirror then :)

Just make it a normal wall.

Tis the only way to solve your problem.

AHA... But he does, but his refletion got messed up.. Now he wants a mirror that reflects all apart from actors.

Exactly. I want the mirrors to reflect the territory, but not the actors. Im making a map that uses mirrors in a way that makes the map appear endlessly huge, but when the actors reflection appears, it is then bluntly obvious to the players that there is indeed a mirror there; thus ruining the effect im trying to come by.

I guess you can add an invisible wall, just a wall without a texture. Also, I recommend registering :) It only takes a few minutes.
